Karnataka CET 2014 (Medical) dates have been announced. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority as a criterion for students to get admission into various medical courses. Qualified students can apply for admission in MBBS or BDS courses across the different colleges in the state. Candidates who were born in Karnataka can only appear for the KCET exam.
Candidates must have passed 10th and plus two with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The aspirants must have also taken English as one of the language in plus two. Candidates can apply for the exam in the offline mode. To get the application form, candidates need to pay Rs. 550/- as DD in favor of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”, payable at Bangalore. The application form is available through various schools and colleges in the state.
The sale of the application form begins from the first week of March, 2014 and candidates need to get the application form before the 2nd week of April, 2014. The admit card for the exam can be downloaded from the last week of April, 2014. KCET 2014 will be held on May 1 and May 2, 2014 across the state.
