Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) announced the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, NMAT 2014 result last week and we were the first one to report the results. Now NMIMS has announced the NMAT 2014 Cutoff for this year, which stands at 94.709 percentile. Compared to last year, NMIMS has reduced the cutoff by a small percentage which can make a big difference in the admission of students.
63,106 candidates have passed the NMAT 2014 exam, but only 2289 candidates have been shortlisted for the Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI). 2378 candidates were shortlisted last year. Among the shortlisted candidates more than 24% are female aspirants while last year it was only 19%. This year, the number of students opting for MBA-HR have increased considerably and the majority of students in the shortlist are engineers.
Last date for registration for the CD and PI is February 4, 2014. The CD and PI will be conducted from February 12, 2014 to February 22, 2014 for the MBA and PGDM candidates at the NMIMS Bangalore campus. The final merit list of the candidates will be announced on March 5, 2014. Qualified students can take admission in various MBA courses at the NMIMS campus at Mumbai, Bangalore or Hyderabad.
